The problem is, Aevery, and certainly this is just my opinion, is that on a motorcycle, you are so much more subject to the mistakes made by every other moron and idiot on the road due to the lack of substantial steel around your body.
Just last week a man on his bike was killed as he rode in the right lane of a highway, because a woman decided to make a right turn from the left lane of that highway, and she just drove right in front of him, causing him to fly over the car and into the pavement.
Your Goldwing is likely safer since it can accelerate AND stop faster: two things that can help AVOID a crash in the 1st place... The smart car is neither “smart” ,nor safe.Ever seen a “smart” car trying to merge into highway speed traffic? (0-60 can be timed with a calendar)
