The feeble (bought and paid for) Cokie Roberts should have retired from the media scene twenty years ago. But, at least she can be depended upon to spew the inflamatory BS.
Under the word "shill" in the dictionary will be her mug.

On ABCs This Week, when retired ABC newsman Sam Donaldson recommended that President Barack Obama nominate, to replace Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, someone who is going to stand up for the principles on the left, if you will that he believes in, Cokie Roberts jumped in: Im not so sure he is so far to the left. Donaldson agreed: Well, Im not sure either. OMG! These people are unhinged!

I have not watched “This Week” in quite a few years and actually thought Miss Cokie had retired from ABC. She is one of those New Orleans liberals, and they are among the most committed people on earth.

Blocking ObamaCare Reminds Cokie Roberts of First Step Toward the Civil War I would think the hubris needed to bankrupt a country in the process of telling other people how to live would be the first step.

Obviously, Glenn Beck’s educational series on American history is sending the talking heathens back to the books... to equate the TEA movement and opposition to confiscation of property & rights with support of slavery.
If they had any intellect whatsoever, they would acknowledge that Obama is intending to enslave all citizens- with the Federal Government as the single, omnipotent plantation owner.
One more example of how the MSM misunderestimates the common sense of the American people.

>>I was just with my grand kids at Fort Sumter, and the notion of nullification made me extremely nervous because it was, of course, the first step toward the Civil War.<<
Where did she get her journalism, the Goebbels institute? Is she saying here that the Yankees started the war when they nullified the SCOTUS Dred Scott Decision?
And here all along, they’ve been teaching that the Confederacy started the war. I guess we’ve been lied to. AGAIN!

TODAY, April 12, 1861, WAS the first step of the Civil War! Ft. Sumter, Charleston, South Carolina was bombarded today 149 years ago.

The first step towards civil war was when they rammed Obamacare passed the tonsils of the American public.
Whatever happens because of that will be on their heads.

Let’s see. Liberals hate guns and want to prevent anyone (including themselves) from owning them. Conservatives like the idea of owning guns and actively pursue the right to do so. Exactly how long would a Civil War last today?

Lemme get this straight. States using the legal process to challenge federal legislation they sincerely think is unconstitutional, that's the same as firing artillery on a US military instillation? OOOOkayyyyyy.
