Yes, "great" in the sense of profoundly moving to see a young girl stand before the gigantic, demonic Nazi machine a pronounce it evil and guilty before God. The ending is, however, sobering and startling and emphasizes the cowardice of others like Ratzinger (a thin political religionist). Sophie Scholl, her brother, friends and even her parents, were true patriot believers. I would hope I have half her courage and faith.

Yes, that is what I meant. You put it very well. It’s a true story. I would hope to half any small measure of such courage, but alas that is what we are going to need in quite sure.
