Should he be denied treatment so I do not have to pay for it?

Again, why is that any of my concern? Are you saying that because I'm my brother's keeper (and BTW, he's heavy and he ain't my brother), that somehow I have a responsibility to chip in for his coverage? If so, why not take that reasoning to its (il)logical end and provide coverage for all 6-7 billion people in the world?

Whether he gets treatment or not is frankly none of my business.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

He would NEVER be denied!

It is a matter of LAW.

What would happen is that "HE" would be responsible for the repayment of services rendered in trying to administer health care for "him."

I would rather be dead broke and healed than just dead.

Since when did it become MY responsibility to take care of those who didn't take care of themselves or plan for possible future illness?

It's hard enough to just take care of me and my family.

You want me to help out? Cut my taxes. Give me my money back to do with what I wish and I would gladly donate to any organization that provides financial help to those who need medical care and can't afford it.

As it is though, I owe so much to the government that I can barely afford to live comfortable myself.
