Ah, but you forget we are experiencing the biggest economic turn-around in history if the NYT’s is to be believed.

I bet he has been off the deep end for a long, long time.

Probably why Soros and the others chose him. They have the goods on him.

Charles Krauthammer wrote, “Not that Obama considers himself divine. (He sees himself as merely messianic, or, at worst, apostolic.) But he does position himself as hovering above mere mortals, mere country, to gaze benignly upon the darkling plain beneath him where ignorant armies clash by night, blind to the common humanity that only he can see."

I love Krauthammer.

Zeros been in the shallow section of the pool with water wings since the beginning.. Pop the water wings, the boy will drown..

The year long funeral to King-ize him would be absolutely heinous torture..

Answer: You don't.. Pity too, he needs to be cold cocked and drug out of there..

Why would anyone hire a guy who can’t tell you what he’s been doing the last twenty years?

Can’t tell you, and won’t let you check his references.

It’s long been apparent that Obama would be a danger to citizens of America even as a small town dogcatchcer. He is unqualified for public office anywhere. But what’s the excuse of the Congresspeople who voted with him on his obscene bill intended to accelerate the bankruptcy of America? They could and should stop him cold.

A recent case in point was Obama's bizarre and meandering 17-minute, 2,500-word answer to the simple question

Ted Kennedy would do this anytime he was confronted with valid questions about ideas he opposed. It's simply the left's style. They are not showing signs of developing mental illness. They already had that.

Typical of a guy raised by a woman who fed his ego that he was “so special”...and a wife who also fed his delusions for her own hateful purposes....unfortunetly for him ( and us ! ) he never had that crap knocked out of him growing up in the normal struggles of life...he is headed for a fall of massive proportions because sooner or later reality catches up with everyone....and his brittle personality just won’t be able to withstand the blows...just look how he reacted to Palin’s minor critizism

...Obama's bizarre and meandering 17-minute, 2,500-word answer to the simple question about how he could justify raising taxes for ObamaCare during a recession when citizens are already overtaxed. Obama's wildly inappropriate answer left the audience stunned and led commentator Charles Krauthammer to mockingly say, "I don't know why you are so surprised. It’s only nine times the length of the Gettysburg address, and after all Lincoln was answering an easier question, the higher purpose of the union and the soldiers who fell in battle."

Question for Dr. Krauthammer (or any psychiatrist)...

Can I assume that you have already ruled out drug use?

Recalling JFK's unfortunate use of amphetamines (Dr. Feelgood, etc), I would love to be reassured that this has been ruled out for Mister Obama.

A recent analysis by Roger Simon of PJTV Media maintains that Obama is showing signs of mental illness. A wide variety of commentators have observed that Obama displays severe narcissism. Obama is conceited, and he is demonstrating a serious disassociation from reality.

Nothing short of what any ole' FReeper knew long, long, L-O-O-N-N-G before the election.

I have Fox as my home page and I just saw a photo of Obama exiting the White House alone. He didn’t look happy.

The caption was “Breaking years of protocol president leaves the White House about two hours before reporters were supposed to be in position to go with him.”

I’m looking at the picture now. He looks just a little bit shadey. I would check the silverware if I saw a guy looking the way he does leaving the premesis.

This is the same guy who can’t go through a single day without being in front of a camera He very well might be cracking up. Wouldn’t it be something if they had to put him in a rubber room before November?

Here’s hoping that the voters help to connect this president back to reality in November

There is no shocking a narcissist into reality, they live in a fantasy world in their own head & LYING is part of their disease. They are incapable of telling the truth & they believe their own lies.

They do not like to be pinned down to specifics like baseball players names, they will skirt issues with generalities because everything in their lives is a lie!

There are professionals that have written that a narcissist should not even be allowed to be a parent, let alone a president of a country!!!

Here are a few quotes about narcissistic leaders:

Narcissistic leadership is about theatre, not about life. To enjoy the spectacle (and be subsumed by it), the cultish leader demands the suspension of judgment, and the attainment of depersonalization and de-realization. Catharsis is tantamount, in this narcissistic dramaturgy, to self-annulment.

Narcissistic leadership often poses as a rebellion against the "old ways": against the hegemonic culture, the upper classes, the established religions, the superpowers, the corrupt order. Narcissistic movements are puerile, a reaction to narcissistic injuries inflicted upon a narcissistic (and rather psychopathic) toddler nation-state, or group, or upon the leader.

Minorities or "others" - often arbitrarily selected - constitute a perfect, easily identifiable, embodiment of all that is "wrong". They are accused of being old, of being eerily disembodied, cosmopolitan, a part of the establishment, of being "decadent". They are hated on religious and socio-economic grounds, or because of their race, sexual orientation, or origin.

They are different, they are narcissistic (they feel and act as morally superior), they are everywhere, they are defenceless, they are credulous, they are adaptable (and thus can be co-opted to collaborate in their own destruction). They are the perfect hate figure, a foil. Narcissists thrive on hatred and pathological envy.

This is precisely the source of the fascination with Hitler, diagnosed by Erich Fromm - together with Stalin - as a malignant narcissist. He was an inverted human. His unconscious was his conscious. He acted out our most repressed drives, fantasies, and wishes.

Hitler provided us with a glimpse of the horrors that lie beneath the veneer, the barbarians at our personal gates, and what it was like before we invented civilization. Hitler forced us all through a time warp and many did not emerge. He was not the devil. He was one of us. He was what Arendt aptly called the banality of evil. Just an ordinary, mentally disturbed, failure, a member of a mentally disturbed and failing nation, who lived through disturbed and failing times. He was the perfect mirror, a channel, a voice, and the very depth of our souls.

The narcissistic leader prefers the sparkle and glamour of well-orchestrated illusions to the tedium and method of real accomplishments. His reign is all smoke and mirrors, devoid of substance, consisting of mere appearances and mass delusions.

In the aftermath of his regime - the narcissistic leader having died, been deposed, or voted out of office - it all unravels. The tireless and constant prestidigitation ceases and the entire edifice crumbles. What looked like an economic miracle turns out to have been a fraud-laced bubble. Loosely-held empires disintegrate. Laboriously assembled business conglomerates go to pieces. "Earth shattering" and "revolutionary" scientific discoveries and theories are discredited. Social experiments end in mayhem.

As their end draws near, narcissistic-psychopathic leaders act out, lash out, erupt. They attack with equal virulence and ferocity compatriots, erstwhile allies, neighbors, and foreigners.

It is important to understand that the use of violence must be ego-syntonic. It must accord with the self-image of the narcissist. It must abet and sustain his grandiose fantasies and feed his sense of entitlement. It must conform with the narcissistic narrative.

All populist, charismatic leaders believe that they have a "special connection" with the "people": a relationship that is direct, almost mystical, and transcends the normal channels of communication (such as the
legislature or the media). Thus, a narcissist who regards himself as the benefactor of the poor, a member of the common folk, the representative of the disenfranchised, the champion of the dispossessed against the corrupt elite, is highly unlikely to use violence at first.

The pacific mask crumbles when the narcissist has become convinced that the very people he purported to speak for, his constituency, his grassroots fans, the prime sources of his narcissistic supply, have turned against him. At first, in a desperate effort to maintain the fiction underlying his chaotic personality, the narcissist strives to explain away the sudden reversal of sentiment. "The people are being duped by (the media, big industry, the military, the elite, etc.)", "they don't really know what they are doing", "following a rude awakening, they will revert to form", etc.

When these flimsy attempts to patch a tattered personal mythology fail, the narcissist is injured. Narcissistic injury inevitably leads to narcissistic rage and to a terrifying display of unbridled aggression. The pent-up frustration and hurt translate into devaluation. That which was previously idealized is now discarded with contempt and hatred.

This primitive defense mechanism is called "splitting". To the narcissist, things and people are either entirely bad (evil) or entirely good. He projects onto others his own shortcomings and negative emotions, thus becoming a totally good object. A narcissistic leader is likely to justify the butchering of his own people by claiming that they intended to assassinate him, undo the revolution, devastate the economy, harm the nation or the country, etc.

The "small people", the "rank and file", the "loyal soldiers" of the narcissist - his flock, his nation, his employees - they pay the price. The disillusionment and disenchantment are agonizing. The process of reconstruction, of rising from the ashes, of overcoming the trauma of having been deceived, exploited and manipulated - is drawn-out. It is difficult to trust again, to have faith, to love, to be led, to collaborate. Feelings of shame and guilt engulf the erstwhile followers of the narcissist. This is his sole legacy: a massive post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

A one point CBS’s Kroft stopped him and asked, “Are you punch drunk?” How will the American people react to seeing their president laugh off their predicament? Obama’s inappropriate laughter clearly demonstrated he has lost touch with the pain that people are feeling.

The illusion that he was in touch at any point, was only words read off a teleprompter - a means to an end.

Now, here’s a thought experiment. What do you suppose his handlers will do if he starts to go seriously and noticeably erratic? To the point it can’t be hidden anymore?

They’ll have to do something. There are a couple of possibilities. One is, he withdraws and reduces his contact with the public. Not easy to do these days.

The second is Reichstag Fire.

I personally do believe this man is mentally unstable. Look at this picture taken at the White House Easter Egg event:

What on earth is going on in his head? Would you let your child anywhere near this man?

A campaign of laughter should be initiated against this guy.
Nothing will send one over the edge faster than being constantly laughed at.

Nah, he’s no more narcissistic than an ordinary politician. If you haven’t noticed, it is a condition that is quite normal for pols on each side of the aisle. As to his seeming vocal ineptitude, he’s flustered by a gradual reduction in his public adulation. This is normal for folks with “short man’s complex” (there, is that non-technical enough). Obama has really not done anything, of note, that he can be terribly proud of. Lesse’ now, weird parents, but plenty of folks have ‘em. Ivy league degree...it’s a yawner. Plenty of those around without significant accomplishments to their credit. Law degree.....ditto. Community organizer....it’s not really a job. Best selling author....that thing was ghosted if you bother to read some of his earlier stuff. Senator....for a very short time, but there are lots of senators that have put in full terms that have had real accomplishments.

President....that’s noteworthy enough, but he’s managed to piss most of the electorate off with more to come in the near future. This is hardly a people person, though folks still seem to think he’s a nice guy. I guess I must judge character different than the average American.

He’s a Christian.....nope.
He’s a Muslim....nope.

In truth he attended a church which was noteworthy for its adherence to Black Liberation Theology. That’s not really a religion, so much as a Marxist philosophy masquerading as a religion. It’s pretty transparent that Marxism is at odds with Christianity, so what’s the draw for the fellow? Why, street cred, of course. He’s gotta’ get elected and this particular flavor of “religion” fills out his card for the local electorate.

So is he a Muslim in “Christian Drag”? Unlikely, as his public break with Islam makes him an apostate. This is an order of magnitude more detestable than an infidel. An infidel can be tolerated, but to publicly reject the true faith is....is....well, it’s akin to a capital crime within some Muslim sects. These folks don’t mess around when their religion is dissed.

So if he’s not really a Christian, and he says he’s definitely not a Muslim, what is he? Why, he’s a secularist with political religious needs. It’s rather like Clinton after he’d been caught with his pants down. He’s gotta’ act like he’s a religious person, even though he probably isn’t. It’s like Bill’s Bible with the big red cross painted on the cover. Clinton was very careful to carry it so the press cameras could record it when going into his church service/photo opportunity after the fall.

There are plenty of pols, and civilians as well, that want the mere mantle of religion, without any belief or behavioral responsibility. It’s just a show for them.

The guy’s a slimer, but that in itself is not nearly as dangerous as what he’s got up his sleeve for most of us.
