Newt can make everybody in the room look stupid, and he does it in a manner that is off-putting. He is a professor and it shows. Newt can’t attract a large following and that translates into campaign donations. I hope he enters the race. He’ll make all the other candidates work harder.

Don’t be surprised if Newt is angling to Sarah’s Idea man. He has said in the past if Sarah enters the race he wouldn’t but instead like to be her Chief of Staff.
I agree. If you add up the first & second-place choices in this straw poll, it's a dead heat between Gingrich, Palin and Romney (or whoever Team Bush ultimately puts forward).

Yes, Newt makes everyone in the room look stupid...like when he did that commercial with Pelosi selling us out on “climate change”. The people he made look stupid, of course, were his supporters. Don’t kid yourself, Newt is not all that special intellectually. He just shines in comparison with intellectual midgets like McCain.
