The problem with being the Party of Yes is that you're accepting the SRM's label of you in the first place as the Party of No. It follows, then, that you can only be the Party of Yes if they say you are, and we all know what that means: go along with the statists. Same old game with the same disastrous results every time it's played. Newt should know better.
The opposition to what is being done has to be an unequivocal No:
- No socialized medicine
- No cap and tax
- No high taxes including No VAT, and
- No set of Czars regulating every aspect of business and private life.
With the Yes always stated just as unequivocally:
- Yes to portability and flexibility in medical plans
- Yes to more drilling and development of domestic energy resources
- Yes to lower taxes
- Yes to smaller government that gets out of the way of the American people in running their businesses and lives
Not the SRM No and Yes, but the conservative No and Yes. Huge difference.
