They also vowed to target resorts, hotels and car parks used by supporters during the tournament. And they claimed explosive devices which cannot be detected by security scans would be used. Not clear that Al-Qaida has the technology to do what they are saying. Nobody in their right mind (except maybe our president) would telegraph a "war" strategy. My guess is that they will disrupt things with a few bombs if they can get away with it, but are more interested in scaring people into not attending the World Cup.
