I’m not wasting my time at all. I’m having great fun debating this fascinating political issue with folks like you!
I’m just not in the business of trying to predict the future as to what any government agency or court will do. I prefer to observe events as they unfold and document them when they have definitive outcomes, like 74 Obama eligibility lawsuits adjudicated thus far with no victory for any plaintiff at any level of the judicial system.
But that fact doesn’t mean that some plaintiff won’t prevail at a later date.
Perhaps, someday, a strong conservative US Attorney, state Attorney General, or a local District Attorney somewhere in the US will find the courage to simply convene a Grand Jury investigation into whether Obama’s birth documents are forged, fraudulent or tampered with. Then Obama’s original birth documents will be able to be subpoenaed and examined by experts with testimony taken under oath.
It still surprises me that all the attempts to get at the truth have been in civil law and that there has been no criminal investigation into this matter. Forgery IS a crime and you don’t have to CHARGE anyone with forgery to simply investigate the possibility of forgery.
I wish US Attorney for the northern district of Illinois Patrick Fitzgerald would take on this issue. His indictment of Rob Blagojevich caused a heavily Democratic state legislature in Illinois to impeach and remove Blagojevich within about six weeks time.
My second choice of prosecutor would be Mark L. Bennett, the Republican Attorney General of Hawaii who Hawaii state law gives INDEPENDENT subpoena power to (he doesn’t need a judge to subpoena a vital record without the consent of the person named on the record). However Bennett has shown no interest in the Obama eligibility issue and no interest in convening a Grand Jury investigation, unfortunately.
