You seem to be confusing a couple of facts.

The first fact is whether or not Obama is a natural-born citizen. That is either true or false.

The second fact is that the Constitution requires that the President be a natural-born citizen. That fact is true.

I certainly don't think that our Founders would have included that requirement without every expectation that it was an enforceable requirement.

The government power to hide public records such as those that would establish the details of Obama's birth is of relatively recent origin. Such power has been justified on the basis of preventing identity theft, perhaps among other reasons. None of these reasons justify the withholding of ANY information about the person claiming the office of President and Commander-in-Chief.

I don't know all of the relevant details of Obama's birth. I have a right to know. The Constitution is not subject to majority rule. The requirements for eligibility for the Presidency cannot be eliminated without amending the Constitution.

Oh, come on WT. < /sarc>

You and the rest of the nation had an ENTIRE week to inspect the COLB on your computer monitor before the August 2008 DNC Convention ... after the highly-credible Chicago Obama Campaign office delivered Obama's so-called "birth certificate" to those hand-picked Forensics Experts at Fact Check on August 21. < /sarc>

We ALL know it's utterly IMPOSSIBLE to forge a birth certificate. < /sarc>
