It is more likely than not that Barack Obama is not legally his true name.
When your name is changed legally, there are court records and your birth certificate, which Obama does not have, is amended.
Also, the plaintiff is usually given a copy of the court’s decision as proof of a legal name change you can give to an employer.
Even if Obama had a birth certificate, it is impossible that it would read Barack H. Obama since this is a name he assumed much later in life while entering into radical society in Chicago. I really don’t know what his real name was at birth. Could be any thing. Barack/Barry Soetoro/Dunham? Who knows?
One thing we do know is that his real legal name is not Barack Hussein Obama. There is no way to know where this name came from.
Obviously going to a Catholic school was not newsworthy.
