Essentially what Democrats are attempting to do is rob from Social Security to pay down the debt that Obozo has run up in his first year in office. Stealing from seniors and those who are disabled and poor and looking to retire in the near future. This is the new compassion, Democrat style.
I should also add military veterans from all past wars are affected too.

Definitely. We’ve all learned that compassion and any concern for individual citizens is just a campaign slogan for him on his journey to socialism. Can you imagine a CEO running one company into Chapter 11 bankruptcy and at the very same time creating another scam corporation that will run up even higher deficits?
Not much different from the Old Democrat Compassion of sequestering minorities into festering ghettos in fatherless homes.
Now as part of the Cloward-Piven strategy to overwhelm SS even more the Dems are helping thousands of minorities get on the SS rolls claiming some sort of disability. Three years ago I needed a new SS card and went to three Texas cities, Dallas, Austin, and Georgetown to get one. At each the waiting room was full and there were long lines going out the door and around the block. These were all young blacks and hispanics, each accompanied by someone with a briefcase or folder full of papers. There was nothing in the news about it and when I would tell people they would look very puzzled. This went on for more than a year before I could get into an office and get a card. I wonder how many able bodied young men are receiving our SS funds now?
When you add that to the coming Medicare cut you would think Obama doesn't love old people very much. Especially old white people.
A second factor is they are now using what they call Core Inflation to determine COLA for SS. Core Inflation excludes from the calculation the two most expensive items SS recipients pay for, food and fuel.
