So you think she had a brain lapse because she didn't pick the country you would have picked?

How many times does this have to be explained?? I've been clear. Instead you want to make it personal which shows my point must have hit home.

And what is "interesting" about it? Obama's family had zero connection to Indonesia in 1961. Neither of his parents were Indonesian, nor had they ever been to Indonesia. Obama's mother didn't meet Lolo Soetoro until several years later.

One report puts SAD with Lolo Soetoro two years after Obama was born. There's no certainty about what connections the Dunhams may or may not have had with Indonesia. Tammy Duckworth said he was born there and the route between Kenya and Hawaii would make it hard to miss. Your point is moot. The Dunhams didn't need to have Indonesians for best friends.

Moreover, further down you claim Michelle said Obama was born in Kenya. So if your argument is that he was born in Kenya, then what is so "interesting" about Okubo mentioning Bali?

I already explained this too. Obama may change his story depending on who he's speaking too.

The evidence contradicts your hypothesis, so you accuse the evidence of being fraudulent? That's not a very scientific approach to the evidence. Especially when the evidence you are attempting to rely upon are just things like idioms and comments you deem "interesting."

Obama's grandmother said Obama is a son of the soil. Michelle said Kenya was his home country. There's a Kenyan certificate that hasn't been debunked yet. Tammy Duckworth said he was born in Indonesia. Obama has reported being born in two different Hawaiian hospitals. The DOH refuses to confirm the alleged COLB. The evidence is all over, except none shows where SAD was in the summer of 1961. What I offered helps bridge the gaps in the stories and explain the ambiguities. You choose to rely on blind faith over a couple of ambiguous/undocumented claims.

She confirmed he was born in Hawaii, and that the vital records state he was born in Hawaii. Are you accusing her of lying?

She did lie about saying Obama is a 'natural-born American citizen.' No vital record in Hawaii declares this. As for the claim of place of birth, I'm saying prove it with full disclosure of the alleged vital records. The point is that an original birth certificate is the ONLY record she needs to cite unless it is insufficient to prove the birth claim. If she's relying on other documents, then we don't know how accurate the claim is and she's purposely hiding to avoid full disclosure when she has statutory authority to give any and all information available.

Because Okubo said he was born in Hawaii in a public statement about where Obama was born.

Fukino, not Okubo.

Michelle did not say he was born in Kenya; she used an idiom in an aside in an unrelated speech, and you have interpreted that idiom to mean that he was born in Kenya.

Ummmm, what country do you consider to be YOUR home country?? Be honest.

While you simultaneously propose that he might have been born in Indonesia. Not only is your hypothesis refuted by the evidence, you don't even have an internally consistent hypothesis.

It's consistent. You just don't want to admit it.

No offense was intended. I apologize if any was taken. But taking a simple rhetorical example that disputes your theory and calling it "interesting" does not suddenly make it evidence FOR your theory.

One report puts SAD with Lolo Soetoro two years after Obama was born.

Which is still two years AFTER he was born. Which does nothing to support the assertion that he was born in Indonesia.

There's no certainty about what connections the Dunhams may or may not have had with Indonesia.

That's just unsupported speculation, then. There's no certainty about what connections the Dunhams may or may not have had with Ireland or Egypt or Paraguay, either.

Tammy Duckworth said he was born there

No she didn't. The author of the article himself has said that he didn't get it from Tammy.

Your point is moot. The Dunhams didn't need to have Indonesians for best friends.

But it would help if they had some reason, any reason, to travel to Indonesia for childbirth. And you've provided no such reason or motive.

So do you have any evidence supporting an Indonesian birth other than a now-corrected local newspaper article about someone Obama went to high school with, and what you want to read into a statement by the Hawaii DOH?

I already explained this too. Obama may change his story depending on who he's speaking too.

Has Obama ever stated he was born anywhere other than Hawaii? No, he hasn't.

Obama's grandmother said Obama is a son of the soil. Michelle said Kenya was his home country. There's a Kenyan certificate that hasn't been debunked yet. Tammy Duckworth said he was born in Indonesia. Obama has reported being born in two different Hawaiian hospitals.

The latter two are false. Tammy Duckworth did not say he was born in Indonesia, and Obama has not reported that he was born in two different hospitals. Obama has consistently stated that he was born at Kapiolani.

So your evidence is: two uses of idioms by relatives, and a document published online by a known forger. Take a step back, look at this from a neutral POV, and consider the comparative strength of the evidence you're propounding.

The DOH refuses to confirm the alleged COLB.

They confirmed he was born in Hawaii, and that his vital records state that he was born in Hawaii. That's pretty black-and-white. Why do you want them to confirm information a second way?

The evidence is all over, except none shows where SAD was in the summer of 1961. What I offered helps bridge the gaps in the stories and explain the ambiguities.

Claiming that his mother took an undocumented 20,000-mile round trip to a third-world nation in 1961 raises a lot more questions and problems than any "ambiguities" you're trying to explain.

You choose to rely on blind faith over a couple of ambiguous/undocumented claims.

I think "ambiguous/undocumented claims" is a good description of relying on two idioms and a forger's document. I, by contrast, am relying on the official stated public position of the Hawaiian Department of Health that he was born in Hawaii. Hardly ambiguous or undocumented.

She did lie about saying Obama is a 'natural-born American citizen.' No vital record in Hawaii declares this.

He was born on U.S. soil to an American mother. That makes him a natural born citizen. She did not lie.

The Hawaii DOH has publicly stated that his original birth certificate is on file with Hawaii's vital records. The Hawaii DOH has publicly stated that Obama's vital records, which would include this birth certificate (and may be limited to only the birth certificate), state that he was born in Hawaii. Not that there was a discrepancy between documents, but that he was simply, straightforwardly, born in Hawaii.

Ummmm, what country do you consider to be YOUR home country?? Be honest.

Depends on the usage, and whether I'm talking in first- or third-person. I could say "My home country is the United States," but I could also say "I want to take a trip to Ireland and visit the home country." Both are acceptable uses, even though my family hasn't lived in Ireland for over a century.

It's consistent. You just don't want to admit it.

It's consistent to claim that he was born in Indonesia AND Kenya? Indeed, I certainly don't want to admit that that's consistent in any way.
