With implementian of a VAT, the result will be? Less spending and buying by the general public, more businesses and manufacturers in distress, and nothing accomplished, other than the economy farther down the sewer.Prices will increase on everything @ 7%. Add welfare for 11,000,000 immigrants and the Cap and Tax, and Oboma will have achieved his goal ("praise Allah").

No kidding. However, his “buds” that he works for either don’t listen or try to “spin” what he says to mean something else. The Dems will just say it is reason why the so called “rich” need to pay more or reason to raise the debt cealing again. The only way to fix it it is cut off the feeding trough of funding. STOP SPENDING! Except for those items “specifically” spelled out in the constitution (e.g., our national defense).

The problem is simple. No matter how much revenue is raised, the Democrats will always spend more. The solution is to get rid of the Democrats.

All jokes aside,
that really IS the only way to rein this in.
And not just Dems either. Government grows when Repubs are in power and we don’t watch them as closely. The founders warned of this phenomenon as well.

This is another round in the “we want a VAT tax” war.
Only AFTER the income tax is repealed will I agree to a consumption tax.

Only AFTER the income tax is repealed will I agree to a consumption tax. You won't get to agree. It will be shoved down your throat just like the income tax was.
How's that for a "representative" government.

This has been the plan for Obma and the Democrats (and their common masters) all along — drive domestic spending (i.e. welfare, government expansion) into the stratosphere, slash military spending, and hold the line for massive tax increases. Welcome to the United States of Socialism, a member in good standing among the neutered Sociaist regimes of the World.
