He's just giving his opinion on how he sees the 2012 situation at this point. He doesn't necessarily like that Romney may be the only one who could win, but if that's truly the way he sees the situation, then why all the ruckus over his saying so?

If this is serous analysis, then we would have to believe that Glenn Beck thinks that Ron Paul is in the top running to win the Republican nomination for President, nobody thinks that, so something is phony about Beck.

Why would Beck pretend that Ron Paul is one of the biggest figures in Presidential politics.

I don't know. You'd have to ask him.

It could have to do with the fact that Mr. Paul has a significant (though not overwhelming) number of supporters.

Regardless, it doesn't change that Beck made no statement in support of Romney.
