Just as I suspected, the scum pleaded not guilty.

I was a little skinny kid in jr. high. I was bullied by 3 other girls, one was the ring leader. I finally said something to my mother, she went to the principal and the principal made excuses for the bullies. These girls were mean. One day in gym class before the teacher came in, the ring leader was picking on me. Punching me and circling me, little tap punches. Laughing and taunting. I knew if I hit her, I'd have to hit her hard. She was bigger than me. I knew exactly where I needed to hit her, where it would hurt the most. So with all my strength I let her have it, one good hard punch, knocked her down. She looked stunned got up walked away, and never bothered me again.
That back in the 60's. I think kids are even meaner now.

Does anybody know if the victim’s family has any IRA members? I know there are quiet a few of them living in the Mass. area, and I was wondering if they would get some revenge on the cowards.

These bullies, actually that is not what I want to call them. Frankly, these scumbags are terrorists and are no different from Osama bin Laden or Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold.
I know bullying has been around, but the entitlement culture and spoiling our kids is making it worse. Also, parents try to be friends with their children.
