Tea Party Ties to Racism Questioned (Two local Tea Party rallies founder on racism charges)
AP - WXOW/ Dayton Daily News ^ | Thursday, April 8, 2010

An Alabama author who's spoken to white supremacists who believe slavery is ordained by god is scheduled to headline a Wausau tea party rally next week.

The scheduled appearance by John Eidsmoe at the same event where Jefferson County Circuit Judge Randy Koschnick is slated to appear has infuriated black leaders and those that monitor hate groups nationally.

More Candidates Drop Out Of Springboro Tea Party Rally (Ohio)

SPRINGBORO — Two more candidates have withdrawn from the Springboro Tea Party rally scheduled for Saturday, April 17, at North Park.

In withdrawing from the event, Chris Koch, a Republican candidate for Warren County commissioner, and Robert Owens, Constitution Party of Ohio candidate for Ohio Attorney General, join State Sen. Shannon Jones, R-Clearcreek Twp., and Sen. Jon Husted, R-Kettering, a candidate for Ohio Secretary of State.

Like Jones, Koch and Owen said they decided to withdraw from the rally due to a posting on a Twitter site maintained by Sonny Thomas, founder of the Springboro group. The posting made derogatory and violent comments toward Hispanics.

Want to discredit CAIR? Ask them what Imam believe about slavery today, is it legal or illegal?

The laws of mohammed cannot be repealed is their uncomfortable answer.

I don’t defend the institution of slavery.

Just pointing out that the media is selective in whipping up a hysteria over holdouts who still support it.

Why would the organisers have this racist on docket to speak?

How do you even know he is a "racist”?
The article says:
“An Alabama author who's spoken to white supremacists who believe slavery is ordained by god is scheduled to headline a Wausau tea party rally next week.”

So therefore, if I speak to guy who is communist (and I have), does it mean I am a communist too? What is this anyways? The Soviet Union and the Thought Police of the KGB?

And I suppose the AP will now start investigating William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn with the same intensity they show for a few unknown kooks and racists that insert themselves into one Tea Party chapter. At least the Tea Party will get rid of these types; the unrepentant Ayers and Dohrn are, if anything, celebrated in the mainstream media (see Page One of the NY Times, believe it or not, dated September 11, 2001).

That's a defensive position against an offensive assault.

Tea Party needs to be on the offensive. Need to confront any white supremacist, racist including black racists, need to confront them direct with cameras rolling. Tell them publicly

GET THE HELL AWAY FROM THE TEA PARTY!!!!! GET OUT!!!

Don't ‘avoid’, CONFRONT.

Then turn sights back on the media and ask them did your socialist democrat masters tell you to smear our Tea Party? Did they?

Now that's offense. These weak-spined republicans who canceled will not get a base of conservative support unless they get on offense and drive the racists of all colors out.

Some of Eidsmoe's speeches are available at the Southern Liberty Store:

John Eidsmoe - Calhoun and the Constitution
This treatise on John C. Calhoun, the greatest States' Rights advocate of the pre-War era, delves into his explanations of the proper use of States' Rights mechanisms to preserve the constitutional Republic given to us by the Founding Fathers. Calhoun's message still holds the answers for today's problems with the federal leviathan.

John Eidsmoe - "Slavery: Not Just a Southern Problem"
Without debating the differences between the Southern institution of slavery and that found elsewhere in America and the world, John Eidsmoe provides the historical case that clearly demonstrates that slavery was not a "peculiarly" Southern institution after all but, rather, was an American and universal institution prior to 1860. This lecture offers the information necessary to explain why the South should not be used as the "scapegoat" for the slavery problem in American history... that is, for anyone truly interested in knowing the truth!

John Eidsmoe - "Transcendentalism: the Key to Where America Went Wrong"
A discussion of one of the many "isms" and "schisms" to originate north of the Mason-Dixon line in contrast to the historical Biblical worldview of the South. An explanation of Transcendentalism and how it became an accepted part of the Yankee worldview is essential to understanding the Yankee Empire, past and present, as well as the culture which it is attempting to inculcate upon Southerners and the world today.

I have heard John Eidsmoe speak, and he is no racists. If you look at his biography, you cannot find anything in his life that would indicate that he is a racists. Read it for yourselves, and you decide. Obama was a member of a racists congregation for twenty years, but the MSM told us that he was not a racists simply because he was a member of a racist congregation. Eidsmoe is on a speakers circuit. He speaks at all sorts of meetings. This is a horrible slight against a good man.

Such a good point. The Democrat party has a former klan member speak every session. They elected him to the top job; the top Senator! They have no cause to throw stones.
