You really dont know much about ID, do you? ID only states that because of the design found in living things that their had to be intelligence. It doesnt speak to that intelligence. It could have been the God of the Bible or aliens from outer space. Michael Behe (leading ID advocate) disagrees with you. Here's that quote from the Dover trial again:
"Consider, to illustrate, that Professor Behe remarkably and unmistakably claims that the plausibility of the argument for ID depends upon the extent to which one believes in the existence of God."

That is one man’s opinion. There are IDers who do not believe in God but that admit that design requires a designer.
