Well, that didn't take long. After Democratic supermajorities rammed through their health care bill, Republicans were full of sound and fury about how this injustice will not stand. Even John McCain was on board, telling a television interviewer, "Outside the Beltway the American people are very angry and they don't like it and we are going to try to repeal this."
But in the GOP, cooler heads always prevail. What these Republican heads want to cool down is the campaign to repeal the health care takeover. Reports the Associated Press: "Top Republicans are increasingly worried that GOP candidates this fall might be burned by a fire that's roaring through the conservative base: demand for the repeal of President Barack Obama's new health care law."

The list of rinos we need to get rid of take out to pasture is way too long to list.
There are too many fools in the base of the gop that think these rinos are on our side. They are not. The rinos are just as bad as the dems.
You go vote for your RINO’s.
We’ll see you back in this same boat, or worse, in another decade.
I won’t vote for half-*ss, phonies anymore.
If that’s what makes you feel like a real American, then by God, you run with it.
I’m voting my values, not a party—I’m done with that nonsense.
Better a quick death by the communists, than a slow, rotting death via the betrayers in the modern GOP.
They are a bunch of cowards. You know it, and I know it.
I'm not voting for RINO's, and I'm doing something to fix the mess we're in (besides whining on a conservative forum).
You go root for third party morons and consign us to a Marxist totalitarian regime if that makes YOU feel like a "real American."
I love this country too much to sit idly by and watch it rot. I'm working WITHIN the Republican party and helping to force it to the right.
You can join us if you want. Or you can not do a blasted thing and be part of the problem.
Your choice, Boucheau. I've made mine.
“Your choice, Boucheau. I’ve made mine.”
That’s just it—you’ve made your blind choice already.
I’ll wait until the election is a bit closer and vote for those who share my values—regardless of their party affiliation.
In case you missed it, the gutless Republicans laid the groundwork for the recent ascendancy of the hard left.
They are clearly allowing these things to happen. If you don’t think so, then where are the leaders (elected) on the right? They sit in the background and risk exactly NOTHING!
You go ahead and cheer-on your “team”—I’m no patriotic bromide, I’ll vote my values first.
Good luck with your gods in the GOP.
After all that’s happened you ought to know better.
Unbelievable!
Can’t people like you at least feign that you demand real leaders, with real principles and character?
You’re a robot, a drone, an unconscious tool for power mongers.
You will be disappointed, GUARANTEED.
There are all kinds of good people stepping forward to run for office (you are clearly too uninformed to even know about them).
There's a pro-active Tea Party movement that includes conservative Republicans like me, and we are fighting for the country while you whine.
Vote in the primaries and get the people who share your values.....SOON. If you don't you are ASKING for the Marxists to control and destroy this country.
Don't be a dope. Don't be so stinkin' lazy. DO something.
You're the one who's not involved. You're the one who doesn't care enough to fight for your values.
Hating Republicans doesn't mean anything unless you fight for your principles.
I'm fighting for mine. DO something.
1. Letters to editors espousing conservative principles
2. E-mail Senators and Representatives demanding that they return to conservative values (some are listenting). Help replace them if they don't listen.
3. Call Senators and Representatives, same as above.
4. Financial support conservative candidates across the country. FR is a great resource to find the best conservative candidates.
5. Work, call, go door to door for the most conservative candidate in the primaries and then in the general election
6. Get involved in pro-life groups, other politically conservative organizations
7, Support our military
8. Join the Tea Party movement, protest, get e-mails and do something about them. Stand up for your 1st amendment right to free speech.
9. Join the Heritage Foundation and become well informed
This is just a starter list. Note - typing nasty posts against Republicans on an already conservative forum doesn't make you conservative. It just makes you a whiner.
If you need any more help in getting off your backside and helping save the country, feel free to ask. FR is a great resource for conservative activism. Use it.
They are worse... they lie to us too... I expect it from dims... I will not tolerate it from a Republican. We have some good guys but we have many worthless opportunists, out for themselves only.

“If you need any more help in getting off your backside and helping save the country, feel free to ask.”
Oh, how generous of you, wise-*ss.
Doin’ just fine.
I've encountered other Republican haters on this forum who refuse to answer the question, who refuse to explain what they're doing to help turn the country around.
What exactly are you doing?
(Don't be too modest now. Maybe I can learn something else I can do, and expand my activism).
You can make up for your previous bad behavior by answering my question about your active participation in helping to save America. You know.......stand on those principles, and all that you claim to be doing?
I’ve answered that question a few times.
Dig through my posts if you want the answer, I’m not typing it again.
I do stand on my principles, “and all that.”
Not that I care, but you are not being polite.
Having said that, stick it in your ear!
I said I was being polite relative to your absurdly nasty insults. I could have said some pretty lousy things and still been nicer than you.
So what I'll stick in my ear, is the only logical conclusion I can draw......that you're not doing anything to save the country.
Unless you can prove otherwise, that is.
(My list is above, and included two trips to DC to protest on the Capitol lawn).
I've got time. Copy and paste and let us all know.
Which I have successfully done.
I'm the conservative. He's the fraud.
Case closed. :)
The AP story is dated 3/31 and has different authors and mentions Cornyn. So I’m even more confused now. Why does Bratch say it doesn’t name names if he’s talking about the AP story? And why does he say “this story” as if it’s the one in the Spectator? It doesn’t really matter that much—but I hate when things aren’t clear. FR is getting sloppy.
We are about 15 years beyond that. We should have been doing this 20 years ago.
We did those steps ad nauseam on the build up to healthcare. They laughed in our faces and did as they were planning all along. With the exception of one or two Republicans, not a word. Not a frikking word about the abuse of power and the tyranny.
But, suddenly a lot of talk about how nice Pelosi is, how inevitable this bill is, how we should take our tyranny and maybe like it because the alternative is just too politically risky? Are you frikking kidding me?
“Case closed. :)”
Try a bran muffin in the morning.
