It would appear to me that he understands the concept of Duty, Honor, Country. You should be very proud of him.
I have served on Active Duty from JFK to RR. I did not admire LBJ nor JC but I soldiered on. My son has been on AD since 1990 and has been subjected to WJC and now Obongo. But he has soldiered on.
Perhaps you can now understand why I cannot respect Lafkin.
My son is 19, he just returned from his PT training and got Future Soldier of the week!! So proud of him, he has changed significantly since MEPS! So excited to see what he will become after basic! That child has about killed me since the day he was born....nothing so horrible but enough to give me gray hairs!!! He was definitely made for the military!
