He has been ordered to deploy to Afghanistan. What is illegal about that order?

On the surface, there is nothing illegal about the order. it’s a routine deployment order.

But and it’s a huge BUT, if the President himself as Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States is in that position fraudulently then any and all orders (and Laws) initiated from his general orders to the Military need to questioned.

Clear up the question of his legality then all of this goes away. A bunch of people have egg and worse on their faces if he is proven to be Legitimate. So be it.

But if Obama is not in his position legitimately well then there is worse on his face than egg. EVERY action taken by him and in his name as CinC in his presidency will be scrutinized and have court challenge after court challenge.

But enough of that, the LtC feels that he is duty bound to question his orders. It is not for you or I to second guess him. Now it is up to the procedures in the UCMJ and his chain of command.

I believe that it is long past time to get this point cleared up.

So what gives him the responsibility to question it? Apparently not only that order but every order given to him by every superior in his chain of command? When I took my oath as an officer many years ago I swore to support and defend the Constitution. I did not swear to support and defend and interpret the Constitution, that last part is the responsibility of others. And I also swore that I would well and faithfully discharge the office I was about to enter. I don't see how anyone can consider refusing to obey the lawful order of one's commanding officer is doing that.
