It doesn't bother you that he's organized a legal defense fund without having been charged with anything? What happens to all that money if the Army merely retires him or rescinds the order? Are you going to expect him to send you a refund?

No, I will not expect him to return the money. I trust that he is an honest man and will figure out some honest thing to do with it if he doesn't need it. And if I'm wrong, well, I've wasted $20 before.
