"Conclusion: Sarah Palin Speaks Like A Toddler."
Such is the title of a Mediaite piece published Tuesday which badly cherry-picked a rather comprehensive analysis of the former Alaska governor's speech patterns.
To make her demeaning point about Palin, author Glynnis MacNicol offered her readers a grand total of six sentences from John McWhorter's 2500-word piece published at The New Republic.

what do you expect of rats?
When you talk to liberals, you have to use language that they are familiar with.
If you consider that 52% of the voters are so stupid they elected Obama, if she does speak like a toddler that might be a shrewd move.
Maybe she can take the libtard hunting with her.

In other words, Governor Palin talks to people as if they’re human f**ing beings, instead of trying to BS them with eloquent pleasantries and lawyerly horse-spit.

I think that was the money accusation McWhorter was working toward in the whole article. He doesn’t actually have any evidence to support it, so he dances around with a historical context that doesn’t support his ultimate, demeaning thesis at all.
Hell’s bell’s... I love toddlers!
The first rule in public speaking: Make yourself understood.
The first rule in editorial journalism: Do not exaggerate the facts.
How can one believe these Leftist Rats when they don’t even know the rules?
This is the usual hit unfair hit piece from people who fear Palin. That said, her tone and inflection can wear on me.
Yikes!
Obviously, there’s nothing but dyke in that thing’s future.
By Liberal logic, he must not like white women.
