It’s possible, I suppose, but I seriously doubt THAT many listeners called in because of Rush. I heard him encourage that, too, and was amused, but have too many other things to do.
I suspect most of the callers really do think they are about to get something for nothing.
I know you're right about that, but I was mostly referring to the media who will blame Rush for the confusion and not the real reason for it. Any reason the MSM can find to twist the truth and put it on a target of theirs they will if it makes Obama look better.
