It’s always gratifying to me when my kids see behavior like that going on and say someone needs a smack! LOL they know they couldn’t have gotten away with that!

That is gratifying. When another kid is acting up at a restaurant, my 5yo daughter will usually just look at me, giggle, and make a slashing motion across her neck (an inside joke my mother taught her which means there’d be hell to pay). Haha.

My wife and I took the kids to Fuddruckers a few weeks ago. My wife took the 5yo to the bathroom ... and my 2yo started crying (a bit loudly) because mom left. I looked at him, growled under my breath “no sir!” and he stopped on a dime, wide-eyed, and didn’t make another sound.

The lady at the table next to me said ... “that was actually kind-of impressive.” I said “I’m kinda scary when I’m 5-times your size.” She responded ... “Well — I shut up.”

Haha.

Discipline ... its a beautiful thing.
