White House to media--'Don't report what you discover' April 5, 5:31 PMConservative ExaminerAnthony G. Martin
In light of numbing revelations over the last several days concerning fraudulent statements on Barack Obama's resume, this piece of information curiously comes to light.
The White House has instructed the 'mainstream media' not to report what they may discover.
The White House directive was issued as part of a deal struck between the Office of the President and reporters of the mainstream media.
In exchange for being given unprecedented access to Barack Obama, reporters would promise not to report 'certain matters' they may discover while covering the President.
From Steve Clemons at The Washington Note:
What I have learned after discussions over the last several days with several journalists who either have regular access to the White House or are part of the White House press corps is that there is a growing sense that access is traded for positive stories -- or perhaps worse, an agreement that things learned will not be reported in the near term.
What, exactly, is meant by 'things learned?' What information could a journalist uncover while having close access to the President that would be deemed so damaging, embarrassing, or even worse, that the White House is exhibiting a near-paranoia in making sure such information is not reported?
And more importantly, why would any true journalist who is worth his/her salt agree to such a scheme?
Clemons believes that part of the reason is that some reporters who cover the White House want to write books about Obama.

Just remember... it was your friends and neighbors who elected Obama. He didn’t just show up... the idiots with whom you share a community elected him...
Not the same, but...didn't CNN wind up in hot water because they sacrificed truth in reporting for access to Saddam Hussein? Even letting a a few folks die rather than warn them of Saddam's intentions?
this has the same feel of the eve of Paula Jones & Drudge, when Clinton lied on the stand - my gut says this is going to break BIG
This is pretty common for the entertainment and sports media.
The Dems found out during the Clinton years that they could play this game. It used to be that no news org. would do this for fear of being ridiculed by their peers.
“Somebodys going to feel slighted and start dishing.”
“Maybe. I bet they value their life a little bit more. “
You probably understand the risks much better than I, but the article says the journalists want to write books. That does sound like it delay the release of the information, but they can’t wait too long, or they risk that somebody else will get their book out first, and render the competing books redundant.
I actually heard O’Reilly or Hume or one of the Fox guys referring to this in the last couple days...they did not mention the Obama resume, just the angle about the WH asking media for ‘good stories’ in exchange for ‘access’.
Sounds straight-up crooked.
O’Reilly had a bit on tonight saying that the MSM has gone corrupt—i think prompted in part, by this revelation.
LOL! Yeah, we haven't seen the press cover up the failings of a Democratic president before, have we?
The only thing that surprises me is that they feel the need to ask.
The most recent was John Edwards...the media had to be brought in kicking and screaming on that one, and they still don't want to acknowledge that Elizabeth is a real shrew.
And take any Kennedy...Robert and JF passing Marylin Monroe back and forth. John's severe health problems were known by the press, but never reported. Robert's idea of comforting his brothers widow involved “sleepovers”. A lot of press knew, but being a democratic politician has press privileges.
As a previous poster alluded to, a lot of FDR's secrets were kept by the press.
They only become investigative journalists when the Prez has an R after his name.
I remember everyday...Funny enough the Obama stickers on cars have disappeared. And besides some black neighbors I can’t find one person who said they would re-elect barry....
I quite agree. It wouldn't surprise me to see that smarmy little prick on CNBC in the mix. He's a WH correspondent, but I can't think of his name.
When TSHTF, the media need to be held responsible for enabling treason.
I don't have any inside information, but I lived through the Clinton era. The 0bama administration has taken "persuasion" to a whole new level IMHO. Arkancide is playdate level for this crew.

Maybe I’ve missed something, but what fraudulent statements are being referred to?

I pray you are right and the “fraud” is exposed for what he is.
“I have long thought that most reporters, actors and politicians, doing nothing really useful, have sold their souls to lucifer in return for temporary success and to obstruct those of us who do not worship lucifer.”
Too true, my friend. But, Thank God, at the end of the story, GOD WINS! Lucifer’s craftiest tricks will all fail.
Pray for revival, and get in on it.
When have they ever and when have they ever bothered to look? Don’t they just sit on their fannies waiting for memos to tell them what to say?
