Did Mark Levin distance himself from birthers because the media has so successfully demonized those who demand proof of eligibility? Or did he do it because he doesnt care what the constitution has to say about this issue???

Most likely, he said "I'm not a Birther" because he's looked into it and he doesn't believe there is legal merit and/or political wisdom in pursuing this case.

Fact is I listen to him every chance I get. He offers a different angle than Rush, and a passion for truth that gives me hope for our country.
As for your observations about mine, you clearly missed the point.
If Levin is not a birther, then WHY THE HELL DID HE PLAY THE CLIP???? HUH???
Obviously you didn't hear the segment of his show I was referring to.
