Think about his father's response for a moment: He didn't say "We think he is wrong about Obama's eligibility", or "We don't think this is the best way to express his concerns", but rather he just said "We're Obama supporters." Not much thought going on in that head, if you ask me.

This isn't about whether you're a supporter of Obama or not. It's about what the Constitution requires and whether Obama has met those requirements. Whether you're a "Hatfield" or a "McCoy" is completely irrelevant.

Exactly.

I (very reluctantly and with serious reservations up to and including nausea) voted for McCain and think he wasn’t eligibile either due to the circumstances of his birth.

It’s not about party spirit or loyalties, it’s about the Constutitonal standards. Words mean things.
