Take a honk at Wong Kim Ark. The law is real simple. If a child is born in this country, and his parents do not fit into two exceptions, the kid is a natural born citizen and can grow up to be President Pedro.

I am all for allowing the baby to stay. No problem with babies born in this country. Put the parents on the bus. They can take their kids with them—in fact give the kid a free passport. But they still have to go.

And make sure that kid is paying his healthcare tax.

No baby goes untaxed.

Read the Congressional record... they promised the law would never be construed it this way! The next law will probably get the same promise... with the same result.

pgyanke, who says if it takes a new law to get them to follow the existing law... the laws aren't worth the paper they're printed on...
