We know no one can legitimately claim the mantle of "organizer." We were all organizers at that point.

It's true that FreeRepublic started the Sacramento party, and our old friend, Mark Williams, came on board very early. But Meckler was there -- that's where I met him, after some email correspondence -- and in fact he was instrumental in applying legal pressure to the capital police to allow us to remain on the capital grounds.

Tea Party Patriots is a very organized group and very effective. They are doing good work in developing community candidate forums, etc.

Well, that was my point. As you saw from his quote, he was THE organizer.

Anyone who organizes a tea party can be called the organizer, nothing wrong with that. If they didn't they shouldn't say they did

I stand by all of my points, some people are damaging the effectiveness with their desire to claim false credit and turning tea party individuals and chapters (for want of a better word) against one another.
