They would get more viewers if they just focused on hard news and breaking news coverage. CNN’s breaking news coverage is actually better than Fox’s.

Fox News’ live coverage has always been crappy. MSNBC’s live coverage actually rivals CNN’s at times. I didn’t even watch FNC on 9/11, in fact my TV was tuned to MSNBC.

Why would someone want to leave a network with awful ratings for one with even worse ratings?

That's even worse than shooting the Sheriff.

Shuster has been in hot water with GE given his crude “teabagging” comments that drew complaints from advertisers who pulled their schedules after they received letters of complaint. So he’s toxic.

This is why Shuster is angry with MSNBC and may switch networks:

DAVID Shuster is a little sensitive about his thinning hair. Although daytime cameramen at MSNBC have been instructed never to shoot the anchor from behind, the prime-time crew never got the memo. “David went crazy when he filled in for Keith Olbermann last week and was shot from behind, exposing his bald spot,” said a source close to production. “He went crazy and is so upset about it, he’s thinking about getting a rug.” MSNBC had no comment.

Canning him should be good for MSNBC’s ratings. FNC”s ratings have soared since they let Shuster go.

I think he should join The View. He’d be right at home with the rest of those b*tches.

MSNBC = NBC. They have bureaus and affiliates that have been there for 50 years. FNC is still playing catch-up, and not really trying very hard; live coverage of breaking news isn't their raison d'etre.

What’s the big deal with CNN hiring a boob? The sooner these corrupt “news” agencies go bankrupt the better.

I never would have thought that the ones who report the news would become the news. The lame stream media is sooooo self-aosorbed that they really thing normal people care what theese peckerheads do or don’t. I for one cancelled my subsription to MSNBC years ago. I suggest EVERYONE who believes the media is part of the problem to start cancelling their subscriptions to the alphabet media. If it comes as part of a package, cxl the whole package. If you can’t then let your channel on discovery or fox between 6-7pm. No eyebsalls equals no ratings. Problem solved!

Hugo Chavez will probably find a good use for Shuster!
However, My Betting Money is that Schuster is moving straight to The WHITE HOUSE to be the right-hand Lunatic for Baghdad Bob GIBBS!.......:-)

There’s even talk of bringing in that dinosaur Phil Donahue.

Good grief. MSNBC tried bringing him back once already in 2003 and found that he got lower ratings than a Mama's Family marathon.

He was on Fox News in the early years. Seems like he left during the Bush v Gore period.
