You're absolutely right. I shouldn't call you son.

I have two sons, and both of them, though not far from your age are courageous men - and you are nothing like them. And I have two daughters who make you look weak and desperate.

Calling you "son" was a far greater compliment than you deserve.

In truth, you are a name-calling, insecure child, and I didn't raise any of those. By the time my kids were 14 they could all run circles around you, intellectually and in character.

I'll never call you "son" again. You can count on that.
