For his part, instead of spending large sums of money to argue that citizens have no right to seek enforcement of the clear provisions of the U.S. Constitution, Obama would released his records and sought and opportunity to resolve the issue on the merits. Based on his alleged knowledge of the Constitution he would have instructed his lawyers to make the very reasonable argument, based solidly on the understanding of political principle that prevailed at the time the Constitution was framed: He is a natural born citizen on account of a fact that is not in dispute: the American citizen status of his mother. And therein lies the crux of the matter. Obama does not want transparency. Obama obstructs the process. Obama disparages the process and anyone seeking transparency.

Obama is about as transparent as an eighteen-foot thick wall made of lead.

Here is an interesting video taken during the 2008 campaign. One only needs to listen to the first 20 seconds to hear Michelle's interesting statement about “home country”. What do you think Michelle meant by her statement?

Amen. The “powers that be” know he was born in Kenya but simply don’t care. They don’t want it public because most of those who elect the “powers that be” might get a little upset.

Shoot, Michelle and “Barack” haven’t even been able to keep their stories straight about where and how they met.

Does this make Alan Keyes a racist??
I was told all opposition to Duh Leader was based on racism.
I just hope this black on black racism doesn't get out of hand.
Hey Alan, Obama wants you to “tone” it down a bit.

Americans are basically without a backbone. They rationalize it as respect for process and legitimate citizen behavior. "Wait for Election Day." Yeah, and when that doesn't do any good, it's "Just you wait! 2012 is coming!"
It's no longer a fair fight against the govt, and the one who fights fair against a rule breaker, loses.
No different than respecting the law about a gun-free zone. The criminal does NOT respect it, and has the advantage. The law-abiding citizen loses. In full daylight he's been cheated out his liberty for years, and will lie there, unhampered by a spine, in the moral cocoon of his good citizenship. What does it mean to be a good citizen of an evil state?

I just don't want CNN and ilk to falsely accuse you of nefarious motives.
I know what you meant, but I'm not Liberal; so I'm literate

I think in 2004 when he ran against Obama, it really never occurred to Keyes that Obama was NOT born in Hawaii. Now he is not so convinced. But the American people don’t care where Obama was born; so long as he is there to “help” them.

The late Huey Pierce Long, Jr., said that when the American people embrace fascism, and he knew they eventually would, they would call it anti-fascism.
To: seekthetruth
How interesting! Home country, indeed!
