I haven't read the book, but I have a visceral knee-jerk reaction whenever I see or hear him.

I truly belive absolute power corrupts absolutely!...and whatever his humble beginnings, it doesn't give him carte blanche to manipulate the populace...

..and I think that's exactly what he did in the Bush administration.

Sure, I'm naive...and trusting....

...but to me it's criminal to take the trust of good, conservative, hard working American citizens and ...

..trample them underfoot.

If he can be touted as the 'architect' of George Bush policies...

..then he had to be aware & orchestrate the illegal immigration bill and all it represents.

There were more odious machinations...but this one especially sticks in my craw.
