Anyone who would kill a small animal would kill a baby or child, neither of which is capable of making a reasoned decision. Anyone who would kill them is a potential danger to society.

If that had been my kid, they’d have to keep him in some sort of custody, because he sure as he!! wouldn’t be coming back to live at MY house.
