NASHVILLE — Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen is among more than 30 governors who have received a letter saying if they don't leave office within three days they will be removed.
Spokeswoman Lydia Lenker said Friday that the state Department of Safety and the Office of Homeland Security are working with the FBI on an investigation.
The letter came from an anti-government group called the Guardians of the Free Republics, which on its Web site says it wants to "restore America" by peacefully dismantling parts of the government.
The FBI is warning police across the country that the group's call could provoke violence by others.

From what I read, they are “threatening” to PEACEFULLY dismantle these State Governments — how is that a “threat?” Is there ANY legitimate way to construe these “letters” and conveying some form of violent threat? Does anyone HAVE an actual copy of one of the letters? Do these Gaurdians of the Free Republic have some sort of website (other than being posted on the “Daily Paul” site?) What gives?
Something may come from this. They are saying they got
the backing of the pentagon and even the supreme court.
They have been working on this for quite some time.
