Yah. I’ve had wierd thoughts like this. When I came in second in a contest in High School, so I was alternate for the prize, I thought maybe the winner will get mono or something and I’ll get the prize. Then I thought, hey, I can give him mono and started to think of how I could do it.
But I didn’t do it!
This guy pulled the trigger!

In this country, the initial accused would have been utterly destroyed and convicted. We don’t require much (if any) evidence when it comes to such things. Hell, people have gone to jail here after proving that a computer virus pulled images onto their pcs. Its the new witch hunt.

That is just mindblowing, in a truly sick, disgusting way.

Wow-how would you protect yourself from someone who thinks like this? Maybe you should lock your computer in a gun safe when you leave the house.

That is scary ! How about at work. Someone doesn’t like you, they get on your computer while you are away and download child pr0n. Good reason to lock the screen when I walk away !

It's scary to see just how easy it would be to destroy somebody's life. It's as simple as stashing a bag of cocaine in somebody's coat pocket and calling the cops. Or as was almost the case here, planting child pornography in somebody's home.
Let's say you were a crooked cop in financial straits and somebody offered to pay you a sum of money to pull a certain person over and "find" something illegal in their car. How hard would that be to do? Not very hard at all.

This is lousy reporting, though. There's no hint of how Kartunnen came to the attention of the police, for instance. The article is just bereft of details.
