Can anyone imagine if GWB had instituted this? THe outcry would ring from sea to shining sea.
Frankly, I don’t believe this.
I’m not sure why they are advertising this. They already profile - whether they admit it or not.
I fly a lot. I go through security with all kinds of stuff, e.g., scissors, liquids and I’m never stopped. (That’s by accident, not intentional.) People in wheel chairs, leg braces and other devices are always stopped. Guys between the ages of 18 to 35 are very frequently stopped, especially if they are burly and ‘look’ suspicious. They’re profiling - even if they don’t admit it.
