Tenacious, perky, smart on stage, Sarah Palin is a rousing political personality

Savage hates Palin. Until now I've loved everything Palin's done. Savage also loves Romney and I can't stand him. I get a kick out of Savage because he thinks for himself but if you read some Savage Nation threads you'll see I certainly don't agree with him on everything because I also think for myself.

Palin supporters have got to be intelligent, right? That means they should be able to tell the difference between legitimate criticism (one-liner on post 3) and "Palin bashing."

I feel that those we elected that are in office and those running for office that we support do deserve to here from us, both when they do the right thing, but also when they do something that we don't feel was the best conservative move. They all fall short of perfection someplace. They are just Humans like all of us. Even Reagan. But we don't abandon them over one endorsement we don't agree with. That is just silly. We're going to run out of candidates if we vet them like democrats vetting a Bush judge appointment.

But the trolls being referred to here (and you may not be one) are people with an agenda, to see Palin crash and burn, and get her off the stage. Many of these we see post anti-palin comments all the time. The same dozen or so people post 80% of the anti-Palin comments.

They have different reasons for doing this. Some of these are true Lefty trolls, like the Lyndon Larouche supporters posing as McCain haters when in truth they hate all conservatives. But the ones coming from the right often do it so their candidate can fill the void left by Palin’s absence. Most often this is Ron Paul people, but there are also Romney, Hunter, and Huckabee people in the mix.

As far as Savage, if you are going to listen to him, do it for entertainment purposes only. Too many of his listeners drink his koolaid The guy is the loud mouth at the end of the bar, who thinks he is the only one on radio that is right. And that's all he is.

While it is good to see a positive article about Palin for a change, this author really needs some coaching on how to write. His phrasing was extremely annoying, and made me seriously doubt he’s smarter than a fifth grader... /g

There were way too many repetitions of “Sarah Palin” in places where simply “Palin”, “Governor Palin” or just plain “Sarah” would have sounded and flowed much better.

Too much paranoia, man. Palin supporters need to be able to kick the tires and see if someone has a legitimate gripe with a reasonable analysis before they launch into a mindless APB attack. Otherwise they show they’re no different than these you’ve mentioned. American’s have got to stand strong once again for what’s right and grapple with the tough realities we face instead of joining some sort of panacea cult-worship thing.

As far as abandoning Palin, I’m criticizing what she’s doing, didn’t’ say I was abandoning her. I’m angry with her though.

As far as Savage, read post 112.

Also, McCain has proven that he's willing to abandon Constitutional principles of free speech and the protection of our borders for political gain.

The reason for the great swell of support for her since 2008 was because we saw someone who put America first ahead petty partisan politics. In the minds of many, what she's doing now is not a minor thing because McCain is so toxic to our country.

I think this is a serious mistake that definitely weakens her as a candidate, but may not be fatal. I hope her effort fails for both our country’s sake (no McCain) and her sake (damage is minimal).

I don't even know what trolling is.

LOL, you are in your sixth year here and you want to pretend that you have never heard about trolls or trolling, or thread hijacking.

Yes you are trolling alright, that is why you ignored post 63 and even pretended not to be able to understand what 84 and 104 could possibly be about.

I didn't say I'd never heard of trolling, I said I didn't know what it was. It seems like a way for people who only want to hear from those who agree with them to cover their eyes and ears.

I think it has something to do with people who are not sincerely discussing legitimate issues, but just being critical for no reason and maliciously being disruptive for no reason. You should be able to dispose of those people as I have in the past, pretty effectively by skewering them with sound reason rather than elementary-school playground name-calling tactics.

One problem with trolls like you is that no subject, no article, no anything can ever be discussed if a troll can jump on any thread and hijack it to an entirely different topic, like you did.

You seem to have the subject, if not the application, of trolls down real good. What’s your word for someone who shuts their eyes and ears to hearing truth?

Good God man, how thick are you?

You don’t understand the concept of jumping on any thread and hijacking it?

If you want to talk about the Arizona Senate race get on one of those many threads or post an article about it, or post a vanity thread on it.

This is your sixth year here and you have never learned that freerepublic tries to prevent trolls like you from blocking discussions by hijacking threads?

You are definitely a troll that is why post 63, 84, and 104 had to be ignored by you, you were determined to stop this thread.

If instead of busy with McCain, she’d gone on a relentless nationwide against the Health Care Bill, I think her influence could have tipped the scales and she would have sealed her election.

Busy with McCain? Hey I don't like the time she spent with him, but she spent only one freaking day with McNut and otherwise she has been on the road nationwide, fighting Obama.

I only hope Sarah isn’t surrounded by yes-men you’ve got here. I’ve already been through the stupid hyjack thing with you pal. Enough already. Your teacher’s calling, so go back to your playground, recess is almost over.

I didn’t like it either. I wonder why we didn’t hear more from her towards bashing the Health Care Bill if she wasn’t busy campaigning for McPain in America’s Neck?

You are ignoring parts of my post. Read it again and see the parts where I say that she spent only 1 day with McNut and that otherwise, she has been on the road constantly fighting Obama.

I read your whole post. Usually you hear about her adventures on the road and the things she says. Didn’t hear much, especially about the Health Care Bill. I thought she could possibly tip the scales with her influence.
