South Hadley schools superintendent Gus Sayer, in his first extensive comments yesterday on the criminal charges brought against nine teenagers, defended school officials handling of the bullying that preceded student Phoebe Princes suicide.

Gus Sayer should be facing criminal neglect charges as a minimum!
Yeah, Gus, you and your staff did such a magnificant job of dealing with the bullying of that 15 year old girl - who is dead because she was unable to get any relief from the bullying.
schools always circle the wagons
I could just throw up. Just throw up at this.
Amen to that! Throw the books at him too.
If you do make sure it’s projectile and in the direction of Gus.
It makes me want to throw up too, the thought of these adults shrugging their shoulders proves that they are disgusting cowards.
Looks like Gus Sayers and the school administrator are becoming the most hated along with Sean Mulveyhill, Kayla Narey, Austin Renaud, Ashley Longe, Flannery Mullins, and Sharon Chanon Velavquez. They are the most hated people right next to Lori Drew, Fred Phelps, Casey Anthony, and Osama bin Laden.
“No one turned their back on this. I think we did everything we could. If I thought I had done something wrong, I would resign. But I think we did our best.”
Resign? From that high paying job, with that big fat pension? No No, you would NEVER resign, a$$hole!!
I haven’t thought this one through all the way yet, but my initial impression is that the officials that turned a blind eye should be in as much trouble as the kids involved. They have a duty to protect children, especially when attendance is mandatory.
I think your list could be expanded by a factor of 10.
It’s just so bewildering. I’ve experienced a lot of verbal and emotional bullying and cruelty, but it’s still bewildering that such things happen in school. All these demons running around, it’s like America is going through some abuse/bullying pandemic.
I believe they do have a duty, not only as school officials, but simply as adults in a supervisory capacity with children. This DA is out to lunch - or as has been suggest - totally afraid of the Union.
You’re right. I have always wondered who was the mastermind of this.
Not what I meant. You listed a number of “hated” people, many of whom had nothing to do with this incident. You left out a large number of people who, since Jan 20, 2009, have become very hated in this country.
I must of misread it. D’OH!
