He’s still in the military, he should be in the brigg. I'm surprised he is in a civilian jail. Does this indicate that Obama isn't going to pursue a military trial?

Fort Hood has no jail or brig. They contract with the county jail to house prisoners. One of my soldiers was in for several months until he was sentenced to ten years for aggravated robbery and a few other charges.
