Was it magical for God to speak and the worlds came into being? God can do as He wishes. It says that God formed man from the dust and breathed the breath of life into him.

It need not be magical that by Gods thought and will, his word or logos, the heavens and the earth came into being. I don't see the necessity that it had to happen by magic.

The Bible says that I too am made from dust.

Is it metaphorical in one case but literal in the other? Why are physical processes allowed in one instance alongside the metaphoric “from dust”, but not the other?
