This is a good presentation by Dr. Carol Swain, a law professor at Vanderbilt, about the effects of the Southern Policy Law Center on public debate; she argues that shutting down conservative voices in the name of political correctness actually encourages extremism rather than moderating it. It's part of a panel discussion put on by the Center for Immigration Studies at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. Part 1 of her remarks is about five minutes long; part 2 is about nine minutes.
remember, those who preach tolerance are usually the most intolerant of all
Sounds like she has been smeared by Liberal Fascism.
I feel for her.
I’ve seen this lady on TV many times, and she always puts forth a good argument. She’s a black conservative, a rare thing these days!
How can one possibly trust her or the SPLCs motives?
They are one of the vilest Hate Groups of the Left!
They are unceasingly spreading hate propaganda and racial lies to sow violence and divisive strife, to achieve their Socialist ends.

and Caracas opening soon!
Dr. Carol Swain is one of the people the SPLC is after as she brings out in the first video.
shutting down conservative voices in the name of ‘political correctness’......
What BS.
Watch the video. Dr. Swain agrees with you.
The SPLC wants to foment extremism as much as they want to shut down debate. Extremism (real or fabricated) is their revenue source. Silencing and discrediting those opposed to collectivism is their goal.
The uber-liberal SPLC has been getting a lot of free milage lately, especially in light of the arrests of the “Extremist Christian Militia” in Michigan. They like to tout the fact that there has bee a “surge” in “right wing extremist groups” but nobody bothers to tell people they count the Tea Parties, and any other Conservative group that dares raise their head in public as “extremist”.
