'All I can say is, “WTF is she thinking?”

Not defending her in any way, because it was an idiotic move, but given the location, she's probably trying to woo financial support from the more affluent in the LA area who may not be SoCons, but have had enough of Obama's "big government nirvana".

I call them the "Penn & Teller" voters (or perhaps the South Park voters). None of them are religious, in fact most are openly hostile to religion, but they don't like government involvement in their lives either. It's going to take someone smarter than Steele to court these voters, without alienating the GOP's traditional base - such is the peril of the "big tent".

Yeah, I’m no prude, but that’s something you do on your own credit card. You eat one (no pun intended) for the party. You do NOT bill this to the party.
