This is not an April Fool’s joke. Sarah Palin will take her first stab at television hosting when she fronts a new Fox News series, Real American Stories, premiering Thursday April 1 at 10pmET.
Guests for the first show include country singer Toby Keith, rapper/actor LL Cool J and Jack Welch. Get excited.
The show will “focus on a range of such stories including a Marine Medal of Honor recipient who gave his live to save his comrades.” But also there will be the celebrity guests – a very broad range of celebrity guests.

LL has a conservative story if you know how he grew up. He even wrote songs thanking his grandma for raising him right.
Keeps her in the spotlight, helps pay the bills and keeps people talking about her. What is there to figure out?
/sarc Yeah..and Reagan wasn't running either when he did his radio program in between losing to Ford in ‘76 and running and beating Carter by a landslide in ‘80. you got to realize that Sarah Palin is a great fan of Ronald Reagan, and has studied how he set about winning in 1980.

Honestly, I find her presentation to be kind of like Con-Doleeza Rice’s. I mean, it’s fine and all, but there’s a certain catch, a certain lack of smoothness, that I think is going to make it hard for her to take on a certain serpentine politician that must be defeated.
OTOH, the bad news is, the 2012 elections are not that far away, and from what I can see, we got NUTHIN. NUTHIN!

I don’t see why she would be done. It seems high risk to me, but if she has a contract where she controls the editing it could be a controlled risk.
Feh... I’d have to analyze the Obama election results pretty carefully before I put much stock in the children. They may or may not register, may or may not vote, depending. La-dee-da. Fiddle-dee-dee. Whole new crop o’ children every time. Pretty hard to predict what they’re going to do or not do. Will zero still seem cool, or will unemployment have destroyed their families so they hate him? Or, will they be the informers of the obama jugend?

I dunno, I’ve got a vivid imagination. At any rate, it’s always kind of a surprise to find they’re real human beings. Like, porno producers are real human beings too, but it’s hard to imagine.

I was first surprised, and then disappointed to see LL Cool J in the opening credits of The History Channel’s “World War II in HD”. Didn’t think J tried at all to sound like the man who first spoke the words of the script, Tuskegee fighter pilot Shelby Westbrook. I was somewhat annoyed by what I perceived as J’s attempt to use a bit of dialect and inflection to represent aggrieved modern urban youth culture.
