Your post reminded me of Jay Leno’s show last night. He has a new segment called ‘White Trash Repair’.
Showing things like holding up a porch awning with a pair of crutches. An apartment building with a porta potty hoisted in the air for a bathroom facility.
I was outraged!
Why didn’t he call it Black Trash Repair?
And I did call NBC and complain -1-212-664-4444
You know the answer to that.
Racism, bigotry and stereotyping are only acceptable against Caucasians.
Preferably Caucasian Christians. Then it's really open season.
Just look at what Leno implies when he uses the term. It is a very strange term indeed, this “white trash”. Perhaps, he is implying that it is a given that non-white is trash? It really is a pretty doubly derogative term.
