McCain/Palin ran ads in spanish castigating Obama for putting poison pills into McCain-Kennedy. And notice McCain did NOT mention the double border fence in his tighten the border speech to Greta. He mentioned sh*t that won’t work, ever. And he HAS ALWAYS been for amnesty. Period, end of story. Palin supports her hero on immigration. Period, end of story. Until she is forced to flip flop like Huck, Romney, in 2012. I fully expect she will. But she needs to explain her previous statements. Period.

If she runs, like all the candidates, she will have to clarify her position on illegal immigration.

Her Oct. 2008 will be hard to explain.

Amnesty, only encourages more illegal immigration and thus should never be allowed. A winning conservative candidate will have to make this idea crystal clear.

I want her to clarify. And I think she’ll have to. Part of her problem is being up in Alaska they probably do not get a sense of the problem the same way we do. Sarah’s got a lot going for her. But she needs to nail this. As I told socalpubbie, she has time still. My suggestion was for her to go on a hunt with Hunter and talk a few things over, and get the hell away from McCain.

And you know as well as I that 12 million is a very low ball estimate. And they ain’t all latinos either. We got chicoms, arabs, Iranians, russians, somalians and every other stripe of illegal here as well. We are at a dangerous crossroads.
