The “Tea Party” movement has, as of this moment, done nothing that’s the equivalent of the 76ers dumping tea in the harbor. That was an act of civil disobedience with a bullet. It wasn’t merely the opposing of an onerous law, but it was the violation of a law through deliberate act.

It violated onerous law.

It physically injured no one.

It financially injured some.

It directly attacked the onerous law in that it injured crown revenue/taxation.

What would be the equivalent in our day?

I don’t know.

En masse, refusing to get health insurance and publicly refusing to pay any fine.
