Skin color has nothing to do with trust. Watch this video and ask yourself, “When the democrats hung White Republicans right along beside Black Republicans did skin color have anything to do with trust?”

Look, someone who speaks to the RNC has got to ante up! We got a whole lot of it riding on the line in November.

I am breaking out in cold sweats thinking that Steele and the RNC are going to screw up November big-time and we will miss our last best hope to save the Republic. Getting rid of Steele and cleaning up the RNC won't matter in the least if we do not gain the majority in one House.

It will be game over. Too late!

FIX IT NOW!

Finkel blog? I was talking about Daily Caller. Is that you? I thought the Daily Caller was a democrat blog.

Ah, I see. You were referring to a rport about the RNC reimbursement of the strip club visit. I was referring to the blog item that was the basis of this Free Republic link.

In any case, I think the facts are fairly clear: Steele didn’t personally go to the club in question, but for whatever reason the RNC did reimburse someone else’s trip there.

Bottom line: I find Steele to be something of an egomaniac and a gaffe machine, and simply think the GOP would be better off with someone else. You might be too young to remember Haley Barbour’s time as RNC Chairman, but he was awesome and never made it about himself.

Steele’s not responsible for some punk staffer charging his fun trip to the RNC. I wouldn’t give the liberal bastards the satisfaction.

I think Steel is trying to fight for us. He may not have found his perfect path yet, and may never find it, but I’d like to think he still might make it there.

My choice for the job, would have been Ken Blackwell. I’m from Ohio so maybe I see him through rose colored glasses. I know he’s a little slower speaker, and others can talk rings around him. But when he speaks, it’s with substance and knowing and there’s value to his words.

And he lives what he says he believes. He fought for Ohio back when they were trying to steal Ohio for kerry. He put everything on the line for truth and what’s right, and I really admire him for that. That, and the fact that he’s pro life and works for life.

But as for Steel, I’m not ready to jump on him without all the facts on the table. But that’s just me.

I have been writing the RNC for a long time now to get rid of Steele. No money from me until he is gone!

“Steele will not be missed.”

I respectfully disagree. He will be missed like a bad tooth being pulled, or a rock in the shoe being cast away.

He will be missed in a good way.

I agree, there is something fishy and contrived going on. When I listen to Steele he sounds on point to me, this negative review is exaggerated.

More than meets the eye.

There is one black politician I really like and far as I know he has always been a principled man, and that is Herman Cain from Georgia. I like him and listen to his radio show at times.

I doubt the guy who sent in the request for reimbursement said what kind of place it was- if he had written down "Need repayment for lunch expenses at "The Gussied Lesbo Dirty Dungeon" it would have been spotted and he would have been fired as a consultant.

He probably sent in a request for "Packing Peanuts at Gus's in Orange Co" and some staffer at HQ didn't know what the place was because wasn't specified by name on the form, just address.

What should have caught the eye was if that amount of money was appropriate for his job description, if it was requested for any reason except for "mailing stuff."

By the way, the Daily Caller is the creation of Tucker Carlson. He is certainly not a conventional Republican. He describes himself as a libertarian. On the other hand he is anything but a Democrat.

Let’s go to the dictionary.

miss - feel or suffer from the lack of; “He misses his mother”

or

miss - be without; “This soup lacks salt”; “There is something missing in my jewelry box!”

Yep, we’ll have to split the difference.

I didn’t know that. I just took it as a democrat site when I skimmed over it once. Thanks for the info.

Ron Christie, Rep strategist, on Lou Dobbs (FBN) tonight. Seems like a good guy.
