Snopes disproved it. Kenyan reference only appeared in one version of the AP story. That was in Kenya’s version. All other versions of the story printed around the work did not contain the Kenyan reference.

Does that mean AP didn’t use Kenyan-Born and that particular paper just added it to the original article? Does AP ever vary their articles, depending on where they are printed?
Is The Standard a reputable paper? Sorry about all the questions.
